Postdoc researcher in Uppsala University (Sweden) developing rapid DNA-based molecular methods for the identification of animal and human pathogens. Since 2011, lP of the MALDI-TOF research group in the Hospital Gregorio Marañón (Madrid, Spain), implementing this methodology for the rapid identification of bacteria, yeasts and molds. Involved in the application of mass spectrometry for antibiotic resistance mechanisms and typing.
