Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre, Westminster, London

Dr Rajeka Lazarus

Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, University Hospital Bristol

I trained in infectious diseases and microbiology in Oxford before taking up a consultant post in Bristol in 2017. During my training I spent 4 years in the Oxford Vaccine Group investigating immune responses to vaccines.

My clinical interests are antimicrobial stewardship and TB. My research interest is adult vaccinology and I am one of the co-initiators of the Clinical Vaccine Network UK ( The network aims to raise the clinical profile of vaccines and support healthcare workers who are interested in vaccine education, research and uptake.
