Professor Yonghong Xiao

Vice director, State Key Laboratory for Diagnosis and Treatment of Infectious Diseases, Zhejiang University, China

Professor Xiao’s major interesting includes infectious diseases, basic and clinical researches in antimicrobial agents, bacterial resistant surveillance and mechanisms, clinical pharmacology and drug rational use. He is the founder & leader of MOH national antibacterial resistant investigation net from 2005 on, He has many positions in societies and associations both in domestic and international. He conducted the first One-Health AMR control project in China with Sino-Swedish funding. Up to now, professor Xiao completed more than 30 national funded studies and over 50 clinical trials of new antimicrobial agents. More than 350 peer-review papers and 30 books or chapters were published.
