Participators:
anyone with an interest whatever their discipline, level of training or experience
Objectives:
(i) Understand role of reporting guidelines to enhance quality& transparency of research
(ii) Learn which guidelines relevant to antibiotic stewardship are now endorsed by IPC journals
(iii) Learn in a highly interactive group setting to use two of these guidelines
– ORION to review an antibiotic stewardship study
-PRISMA to review a systematic review of stewardship studies
Although not obligatory, participants may get more out of the session if they have read both the ORION (www.ucl.ac.uk/amr/Reporting_Guidelines/ORION) and PRISMA (www.prisma-statement.org) statements. Papers to be reviewed can be found on https://doi.org/10.1093/jac/dkm014 and

Introduction (15 mins)
ORION checklist to review a paper (30 mins)
PRSIMA checklist to review a systematic review (30 minutes)
