Adam worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London on the genetics of transferable AMR until joining the LSTM in February 2017. At the LSTM he is focused on translating this fundamental knowledge into patient benefit, particularly in LMIC settings. He runs the award-winning, citizen science, drug discovery project called Swab and Send. He is an advisor to the Longitude Prize and a policy advisor (drug resistance) to the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
