Dr Beatriz Larru Martinez

Beatriz joined the Infectious Diseases department at Alder Hey Children´s hospital in Liverpool in 2018 after having completed a Paediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Children´s Hospital of Philadelphia and a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in the US. In Nov 2020, she became the Director of Infection Prevention and Control and Infection Control doctor for Alder Hey.

Beatriz is currently a member of the Research subcommittee of the Healthcare Infection Society (HIS) and has an honorary appointment at the University of Liverpool.
