Dr. Katy Stokes is a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychology, University of Warwick, UK. She is an interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in applying machine learning for disease detection and monitoring. Currently working on the CONTAIN project, investigating human contact patterns and transmission risks in animal markets in Thailand and Ghana, combining drama, epidemiology, social psychology, and mathematical modelling to inform public health policy. She has experience in the science-policy interface, particularly in antimicrobial resistance (AMR), One Health, and health technologies.
