Laurie Denyer Willis is a medical anthropologist in the Anti-Microbials in Society (AMIS) Hub at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Laurie’s research concerns the urban and political ecologies of health and disease in postcolonial landscapes, with a particular focus on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), animal-human relations, and water systems. Laurie completed her PhD in Medical Anthropology at McGill University and her Master of Science in Urban Studies and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
