Dr Mandy Wootton

Mandy is currently Consultant Scientist/Operational manager of the Specialist Antimicrobial Chemotherapy Unit (SACU) in Public Health Wales, an antibiotic resistance reference service to Wales. She has >30 years experience of susceptibility testing methods and resistance mechanisms. She currently sits on the BSAC Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing Standing Committee and is also Scientific Secretary of the EUCAST Steering Committee; helping to develop AST methods and clinical breakpoints plus providing education at workshops and conferences.
