Major Scott Pallett is a senior medical microbiology and infectious diseases registrar for the British Army. He has an academic interest in Gram negative resistance, particularly in the development and use of novel diagnostics in resource limited or remote settings. Recent research has focused on surveillance of Gram negative resistant infections in areas of conflict, sequencing in extreme remote cold environments. Scott is currently a Parliamentary Intern in the Office of Dr Danny Chambers MP on behalf of the British Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.
