Fran Garraghan

Fran Garraghan is an experienced antimicrobial pharmacist with a strong commitment to tackling antimicrobial resistance and advancing antimicrobial stewardship across healthcare settings. She is Programme Lead at BSAC, where she oversees the development and implementation of innovative AMS programmes, including the LEAP programme.

Fran is a Credentialled Consultant Pharmacist in Antimicrobial Stewardship and has contributed to national and international AMS capacity‑building initiatives, including work in low‑resource settings. She is an experienced mentor and educator, supporting pharmacists and multidisciplinary colleagues across all stages of practice. Her current interests include leadership development in AMS, global health, and creating inclusive learning environments that support collaborative action on AMR.
