Professor Jenny Rohn is Head of the Urological Biology, Infection and Cancer group in the Department of Renal Medicine in the Division of Medicine at University College London, UK. Her laboratory focuses mainly on understanding the science behind urinary tract infection, examining bacterial behaviour and treatment failure using advanced human tissue models. She also collaborates with engineering, clinical and industrial colleagues to develop novel therapeutics. Jenny earned her PhD in Microbiology at the University of Washington, Seattle USA. After several postdoctoral fellowships and a group leader position in a start-up company in the Netherlands, she re-joined academia at UCL in 2006 with a Wellcome fellowship and was promoted to Professor in 2021.
